Christopher received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1987, and his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1990. His education also included the study of Comparative Law at Oxford University in England. Christopher has since worked at various law firms in New York City and upstate New York, initially as an associate attorney and since 1998 as a partner.
While initially handling primarily civil and commercial litigation, judgment enforcement/collection matters, real estate and appellate practice, in 1992 he developed a focus on developing businesses and related transactional work, and since 1998 has also represented criminal defendants charged with various felony, misdemeanor, violation and traffic level offenses.
In 2010, he formed the Law Office of Christopher S. Coleman, PLLC.
